First Chapter
Curatorial Maps is a collaborative platform that brings together photographers and curators with the objective of recreating a map of contemporary photography. The term Geography stretches into the intimate, physical, political, identity, literary, imaginary.
The first Chapter of Curatorial Maps focuses on the theme of geography, and it was born out of a collaboration between Irene Tondelli and Davída Carta during the Pandemic. Irene and Davida worked online in a parallel way and from their respective Countries.
They both selected a number of photographers and collaborated in the creation of a final body of work that answers to the question:
